Alumni Soft Launch

The participants were then able to network with IBC members from across all four cohorts as well as many of our valued mentors, further expanding their market relationships & recognising the difference IBC has made to these individuals & their careers.
Members past & present met in the city for an informal breakfast networking event. Connections were renewed with members sharing their career progression since they last met & many new relationships & connections were formed.
There was a lot of converastion about the upcoming panel training with past graduates of the programme sharing how valuable it had been for them & how they ‘re using the skills & confidence now in many professional scenarios.

Whether members are navigating changes such as promotion or moving into a new role; from individual expert to manager or business leader, taking on a board role or facing external changes such as parenthood or caring responsibilities – transition is a theme relevant to all of us.

There were lots of practical tips captured by the members & they left better equipped with the right strategies & inspiration to help them thrive & find fulfilment throughout their professional journeys.

Over 85 IBC Alumni & some special guests visited the Google offices to experience the global phenomenon that is #IAmRemarkable.
A global movement that empowers everyone, including underrepresented groups, to celebrate their achievements in the workplace & beyond, while challenging the social perception around self-promotion.
This inspiring & interactive session included group discussions & exercises to increase comfort & confidence in self-promotion, to tackle bias & to be allies to others. Everyone emerged feeling even more remarkable & ready to share these tips & skills to empower others too!
