We’re thrilled to have launched the official IBC Alumni group this year with our main sponsor Deloitte. This group gives all members access to ongoing professional development, mentoring & extended network building after the conclusion of the main programme.

Alumni Soft Launch
Ahead of our official launch we brought members from all past cohorts together to share their views on what they want & need from the Alumni. It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm for the alumni & we now know exactly what will be of most benefit to our members as they continue to progress their careers.
Official Alumni Launch
All members past & present were invited to attend the launch session where we were joined by Amanda Blanc, Group CEO of Aviva. During this fantastic event members were given the opportunity to ask Amanda questions about her career & leadership experience & she shared her insights & some great tips.
The participants were then able to network with IBC members from across all four cohorts as well as many of our valued mentors, further expanding their market relationships & recognising the difference IBC has made to these individuals & their careers.
Summer Networking
Members past & present met in the city for an informal breakfast networking event. Connections were renewed with members sharing their career progression since they last met & many new relationships & connections were formed.
There was a lot of converastion about the upcoming panel training with past graduates of the programme sharing how valuable it had been for them & how they ‘re using the skills & confidence now in many professional scenarios.

When used properly, LinkedIn is a fantastic tool; it can help showcase expertise, facilitate knowledge exchange & cultivate business relationships.
It can be a gateway to opportunities, a platform for talent acquisition, brand visibility & industry insights.
Social media expert Lauren Auguste from Howden will share with members how best to leverage the power of LinkedIn to benefit both their careers & their organisaion.
Navigating career transitions
We’re looking forward to another unmissable Alumni event hosted by Deloitte.
Whether members are navigating changes such as promotion or moving into a new role; from individual expert to manager or business leader, taking on a board role or facing external changes such as parenthood or caring responsibilities – transition is a theme relevant to all of us.
This event will welcome a panel of leaders (who have all been through their own transitions!) for an interactive session with lots of practical tips so that members leave fully equipped with the right strategies & inspiration to help them thrive & find fulfilment in their professional journeys.
